I think the tintype on the left is very old probably 1860s or 1870's. It is a paper frame around a tin photograph. It seems in so many photographs the people are leaning against a post or desk like the lady on the right.
In this blog I wish to share postcards from my collection with others, as there are many different catagories of postcards. I also will share what I am currently selling on Ebay. I like selling, buying and trading postcards. The Plus in the title is for the handcraft items I make and collect. Also for all the ephemera I collect.

I love the image on this postcard! I don't think it's too early to share ideas for Valentines day. This is such a sweet idea with the angel and the heart charms. Thank you!
I think they probably leaned on something becuase they had to wait so long for the photo to take. It's also why you don't see alot of people smiling in old pics.... cause they couldn't hold the smile ;-D
