The Winner Biloxi Regatta 1909

This sailboat "Henry M" won the Biloxi Regatta in 1907.
The sender says she wishes her friend was there so they could ride a boat. She keeps the window open from her room hoping to watch the steamers go by. She also sees the races.

I enjoy reading what others wrote on the post cards so many years ago. Makes you kind of try to picture what they are talking about and wonder how they were dressed back then. As soon as I have time I think I will go through some more old ones I have in a box here :)

The Henry M was named for my grandfather Henry Fountain a Biloxi boatbuilder and racer of schooners and catboats.
