Mystery Postcard

Here is a second postcard similar to the one in previous post. Sure is colorful. No clue to what it is about.

These are both FABULOUS cards, really spectacular. They show punishments for bad behavior. The one with the cards is a card cheat or a card sharp (Falschspieler, in German) and the other one is a "Spanish Collar", the punishment for carousers and drunks. Where did you find these?

They are definately different but I did see dice and playing cards on the one so it must have something to do with playing some kind of games.....very interesting anyhow :)

I got these cards in a group of postcards through an auction house. I will be listing them on eBay. They are colorful.

Hi Judy, I was just dropping by as I put the following touches on the Festival of Postcards and I wanted to point you to a Postcard Forum where you can get answers to lots of questions. I have links to it on my site (PostcardCollector.org)
