Dyed Ribbons, Fabric Cuffs & Flea Market Finds

I dyed these ribbons with Easter Egg dye. It was a fun project, cheap and easy. I got this idea in Somerset Life by Stampington and Co.

Went shopping the other day, garage sales, consignment store and a Flea Market.
What fun finds, jewelry, vintage beaded trim for sewing projects, pins, wild handmade earrings, and even a Postcard.

Fabric CuffsAnother idea from Somerset Life.

Finished and ready to finish fabric cuffs.
Glad I was able to add three entries for today in my blog. I get such wonderful craft, sewing ideas from the many blogs I read. And blogs about collecting postcards are of great interest.

That is so cool that you dyed the ribbon with Easter egg dye..maybe you could share how you did that in the group...Someone sent me the pattern for the cuff braclets but now that I have seen yours I am amazed at how awesome yours are...great job Judy.
I think Nellie would like some of the braclets...maybe to match the head bands I made her.
Thanks for sharing :)

I just put the tablets in a jar and added warm water (and vinegar if called for.) I wrapped a rubber band and bunched up the torn fabric I used for ribbon for the tye dye look. Some are single colors what ever happened, I had bleeding among a pile and got quite an interesting look. Also dyed grosgrain ribbon. Just like dying eggs
