Thanks again to PFF Host Marie at http://www.cpaphilblog.com/
In this blog I wish to share postcards from my collection with others, as there are many different catagories of postcards. I also will share what I am currently selling on Ebay. I like selling, buying and trading postcards. The Plus in the title is for the handcraft items I make and collect. Also for all the ephemera I collect.

I cannot help you but they are wonderful post cards. PFF and TFS
I'm not sure about the first card but the second is called a coiffe:) There are literally thousands of different traditional costumes which were worn in France! This coiffe is typical for the Alsace region. Isn't it ginormous! The stork is also a symbol of Alsace. People still build nests on top of their houses (typically on a wago wheel) in hopes that a stork will roost there. They are supposed to bring good luck! Happy PFF!
those men look Russian, but that could just be me :D
they are both lovely cards!
Oh, I love the "coiffee" cards, especially the one with the stork overhead! Happy PFF.
I think the man on the right is King George V
I would have said the man on the right is Edward VII and if so, it *may* be Paul Cambon on the left. The card could be a commemoration of the 1904 Entente Cordiale between France and the UK. Maybe.
my money is on Edward VII...in fact, i'm pretty certain...sheila's paul gambon guess looks like a good bit of sleuthing to me but i'm not familiar enough with him to be sure. the alsace images looks more generic on the other hand! happy PFF!
Thanks for the tips so far, more sleuthing for me to do.
Judy Love the coiffe (new term for me) cards.

I wouldn't have a clue about the identities of the gentlemen pictured. I'd have guessed Archduke Ferdinand, but he wasn't from Alsace.
the men could be from anywhere not Alsace. I husband thinks the one on the right is Prince Albert.

Yep, I was going to say, one looks like a king...all of those metals give his status away.
Good sleuthing people! I'm impressed!
I can't help you at all, but I read all the comments you really do have a lot of people thinking.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I absolutely love your blog and have bookmarked it to visit again. I love ephemera, and collect vintage dachshund photos/cards.
I'm also quite sure that's Edward VII. Don't know about the other guy though. And the Alsace cards are beautiful.
Well the King on the right is indeed Edward VII - son of Queen Victoria and Prinec Albert (trust me I'm an Englishman!)
Tother gentleman I'm not so sure - but would also, like Sheila, have said Paul Cambon who worked with Edward during his reign.
beautiful postacrd and blog anyhow x
