Making Pillows using Postcards Idea from Somerset Home 2006

Find transfer paper (Avery is a good brand) copy some of the designs of your old vintage postcards and iron on light fabric and make into a pillow.
I got the idea from the Premier Issue of Somerset Home.  I have not made a pillow from postcard pictures but have made cloth muslin baggies with transfer pictures of postcards.

I have made many things with iron on and also printed on fabric from printer and you just gave me a great idea to take some of my GM old post cards and make pillows for my cousins.
Thanks for sharing Judy

This could be a dangerous thing for me. It's one thing to have thousands of postcards, but another thing altogether to have thousands of pillows.

A wonderful idea, and I am curious about the memory bowls on the front cover of the magazine? How I would love to learn to do that!

Nice one guy! We might try to work a reference to this one into a blog post about where to buy Pillow Cases next week.
