Postcard Friendship Friday, Indian Chief, elderly woman and sand painting

This is the third large postcard I am sharing from my Native American collection. It does not identify this Indian Chief by tribe etc. There is a quote on the back of the postcard..."Here lived and loved another race of beings...The Indian of falcon glance and lion bearing." Charles Sprague
It is an oversized postcard of 6 inches by 9 inches. I wonder if the proud woman is his wife. (There are several Charles Spragues, one once being governor of Oregon, another a poet, humanitarian from the East Coast in the 1800's.)
I have included a photo of a sand Painting I bought from a live internet auction in New Mexico. I love the sand paintings from the Navajo Nation. This one is called FOUR SEASONS by E.B. Benally of New Mexico.
