Have you noticed that they are not building any new single story old fashion style motels? At least I notice most of the newer motels/hotels are 2 story with hallways. I remember we liked to park outside the room we booked so we could keep an eye on the car.

Interesting choice for PFF; maybe you're talking about one of those newfangled friendships they have nowadays. But I think they stopped building traditional motels after Psycho came out. ;)

You know, I never thought about this until you said it, but you are right. 3 new hotels are being built in the neighboring town and they are all 3 story. blessings,Kathleen
I hadn't really thought about it either! I think I prefer a nice 1 storey too.. There really aren't many of them!
