In this blog I wish to share postcards from my collection with others, as there are many different catagories of postcards. I also will share what I am currently selling on Ebay. I like selling, buying and trading postcards. The Plus in the title is for the handcraft items I make and collect. Also for all the ephemera I collect.

Lovely vintage postcard - thanks for sharing, and happy PFF.
Great card and the text is telling so much about another time. Although everyone still wants to feel save in a hotel. Happy PFF
i was just thinking that the handwriting was a bit too legible, when i realised this was a pre-print!... a wonderful advertising card! happy PFF!
That building reminds me of some of our stores downtown. I have a hard time imagining them as hotels! Happy PFF!
back then i suppose no one asked for running hot water in every room! I wonder where this was?
Fun card. Would love to see where it is now. Happy PFF!
I was thinking maybe it wasn't a preprint but written by a real person because of the way the writing overlaps the divider.
Commodious lobbies, what I always look for in a hotel;-)
Interesting name I wonder if the original owner was a Manx man from the Isle of Man or perhaps its the Manx cat which has no tail.
Lovely! I too am delighted that they enjoyed their stay. Love the automobiles!
I've never seen a pre-printed post card before- How interesting!
What a huge Hotel..I have never seen one that big..not even in Chicago :)
Isn't that interesting, promoting the hotel for ladies traveling solo. I like that!
I am laughing imagining ICE shooting out of the faucets. Happy PFF. Thanks for sharing.
Lovely postcard!
I think this may be the same 'Hotel Manx' my grandparents and I along with my brother stayed at when we toured the U.S. in summer of 1961. I was 9 3/4 my brother was 8 3/4. My grandparents were opera singers, taking me and my brother along on their long vacation.
If it's the same Hotel Manx - my grandfather dubbed it the 'Hotel Stanx' necause we all hated it - and he moved us out to better lodgings!
Peace,

An enormous looking place to have a homelike atmosphere! No doubt running ice water is better than no water at all. :)
That is a cool postcard.
