Stay at the Space Shuttle Inn in Titusville, Florida and be shuttled off to the airport in this unique Courtesy Car. This postcard came from an interesting group of space postcards from the 1960's that I recently bought. Happy PFF to Maria and all her followers

Totally-Creative Magazine - Free Preview

Here is an online craft magazine I highly recommend. It is about 50 pages with many different craft, home decorating ideas. It is called TOTALLY-CREATIVE and is celebrating its first anniversary. The layout is very easy to read and downloads easily. In each issue guest designers share their crafting ideas, so there is a nice variety of fun projects to do.

Go to the link below to find out more about this digital magazine and sign up for a free preview. Are you like me that you have tons of magazines lying around the house? Then you can't find an issue for a certain project. Now save on clutter and store your issue of Totally-Creative on your computer. Fun reading right at your fingertips.

Rain and more Rain

We had 3 inches of rain yesterday and its wonderful. We needed it so badly. It has calmed down some which is good as it gives time for the water to sink in. Poor Casper the cat hated it yesterday and sat on the porch under cover looking at it. Today he is out and about and maybe the gophers will swim to the surface and he will catch one. The birds do not seem to be affected and are at the feeders despite the rain. It snowed on Tioga Pass so its closed in Yosemite but I imagine it will open up in a few days. The leaves are falling and some are turning yellow. I feel Halloween in the air.

Postcard Friendship Friday - The Auto Log Sequoia Nat'l Park CA

The Auto Log in Sequoia National Park, today!
Car Parked on the Auto Log during the era of 1920 through 1940.

Cars were originally banned from the National Parks but in 1910 the policy changed. Tourists could pretty much park and camp where they pleased. I found a number of photographs of cars on this tree and it must have been a popular place for posed pictures.
