Below is a photograph of the American Section of the town of Yalova. Here you caught the ferry to visit Istanbul. The second picture shows the American base. Many years ago 1967 - 1968.

That is so interesting. What had you teaching there........was it missionary work? Did your mother worry about you being so far away in a strange land?
