This early Postcard is decorated with embellishments. This card has tiny beads glued for tree branches and ribbon laced through the front. It is double sided. I think its a little gaudy but unique. I have listed this postcard on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=220264979734&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=012
In this blog I wish to share postcards from my collection with others, as there are many different catagories of postcards. I also will share what I am currently selling on Ebay. I like selling, buying and trading postcards. The Plus in the title is for the handcraft items I make and collect. Also for all the ephemera I collect.

Yes, Judy.....they use a lot of embroidery on quilts sometimes...I am working on a redwork baby quilt, just have the border to put on...got it all pinned....have you checked out my embroidery blog? There are lots of things you can do besides pillowcases....I have many links and idea...
p.s. I like the postcard, you are right, its a little gaudy but still quite attractive....I hope I can start collecting again soon.
Could I feature you on my blog sometime soon? You have such talent Judy! I am really impressed!
Hello Judy - isn't this pretty. I have a number of postcards like this postmarked 1917 but none of them have embellishments on.
