A deck with a View and a Kindle in my hand.

Not much to report on this lovely April day.  View from my back deck where I like to sit with my coffee and watch the birds, play with the cat and read my Kindle.  I am just starting a novel about Quilting.  It is called A Single Thread (cobbled Court Quilt Series) by Marie Bostwick. I love to be able to read on all my electronic devices.

Wonderful recipes on the back of each page.  All you need is cake flour, butter, milk, salt, baking powder, water, vanilla extract, almond extract and 3 egg whites

...........Anchorage, completely modern, is the largest city in Alaska.  It is the gateway to this fabulous vacationland, a paradise for the fisherman and hunter, and take off point for some of the most beautiful sightseeing in the world  Anchorage is only a few swift hours away by Northwest Orient Airlines.

These words have not changed much except Northwest Orient does not exist today.  I love the old classic cars parked and driving down this street.
